Jesus said it all. To know God and His Son Jesus Christ is eternal life. That doesn’t mean know about Him; it means know Him. We don’t earn salvation. It’s a free gift. Instead of concentrating on trying to measure up, we need to concentrate on Jesus Christ, and let Him do the work. He promised in Philippians 1:6 that He has begun a good work in us, and He will finish it. We need to be concentrating on what’s really important—the relationship with Jesus. |  Jack Pefley is an evangelist for the Northern California Conference.
