Jim and Neva Brackett, both graduates of Walla Walla University, have been conducting nutrition seminars for over 35 years across the United States and in many overseas venues. When he was the health ministries director in the Washington Conference, the couple opened two vegetarian restaurants and a medical clinic as part of a city evangelism and Bible worker training program. They are the authors of three plant-based cookbooks - Something Better, Best Gourmet Recipes (usually called the Five Loaves Cookbook) and The 7 Secrets Cookbook published by the Review. Neva is a great chef and Jim holds master's degrees in physics and public health, both from Loma Linda University.
