Richard M Davidson is a J. N. Andrews Professor of Old Testament Interpretation at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan. He has been with the Andrews faculty since 1979. Davidson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in theology from Loma Linda University, a Master of Divinity degree and a Doctor of Philosophy in Biblical Studies from the Theological Seminary at Andrews University. "A Love Song for the Sabbath" and "In the Footsteps of Joshua" are two of several books he has authored or co-authored. He is married to Jo Ann Mazat Davidson. They have two children, daughter Rahel and son Jonathan. Davidson enjoys sharing the Word of God and helping to make it come alive in people’s lives, as well as outdoor activities such as backpacking, mountaineering, cross-country skiing, and tennis.
